This week the team worked on finalizing the project report and preparing for the Proposal Presentation.
John
John worked on finalizing the project report according to notes from Professor Notash.
This included final revision of the DER to reduce its size
as well as other minor formatting revisions.
John enlisted the help of his significant other, Ashley Torres (M.A. in English), to have her proofread the report for grammar and spelling errors, as well as the overall rhetorical clarity of the report.
Once the final report was submitted, John created ad shared a Power Point document for the final presentation.
John also began working on a 3d CAD model of the proposed device
Hunter
Worked on the final edits and formatting that was recommended from my conversation with the professor. The assigned tasks from the meeting can be found in the "Weekly Minutes with Professor" section of the website.
After the final report was completed and submitted, Hunter worked on completing the remaining updates to the website that were mentioned in the meeting.
The completed edits/updates include:
- Switching the order of the weekly presentations page so the oldest's presentations are now first, with the most recent being the last.
- "Weekly Minutes with Professor" page.
- Deleting the blank document at the end of the Success Criteria page.
- Transferred all my old Progress Logs to the new "Blog" format, which was recently changed from the previous format for better viewing.
- Switched the order of all the designs on the Proposed Ideas page so the most recent is now last,
Hunter started a Power Point outline for the final proposal presentation, but ended up being merged with our previous slides, after collaborating with my teammate.
